All of our Made on Desire garments are created using a selection of fabrics that we have in stock at The Rise Studio . This enables us to pour our energy into creating your beautiful pieces and to have them ready to ship within 6 weeks from your order date.

We hold a limited amount of cloth in the studio so that we are continually responding directly to our collectors. This also means that we can have great fun making tiny drops where perhaps we can only source enough fabric to make 2 or 3 in a particular cloth rather than mass manufacturing in the 100’s which would inevitably result in waste . When on my travels if I find a scrumptious length of antique cloth I don’t need to think, “how can I make multiples with this”, I only need to think, “is this enough for one!”

As a zero waste studio we strive to utilise every little off cut and so this method of working is at the core of our mission to create heritage clothing for people who care..
